Sometimes the shortest phrases have the greatest impact, the fewest of words the mightiest effect.

For example, I love you.  Or You are not alone.  How about a simple Thank you?

A week ago I read a short, but sweet 2 verses in my Bible and the words have stuck with me since as a gentle, calming reminder to my soul, shade for this soul in the heat of life. Normally I have to re-read something to remember the impact the words first had, but not this time,  probably because I needed the words and the reminder.  Today, I won’t wax eloquently (I like to kid myself this is what I do in my writings) or expound or allow my word-nerdiness to be exposed.  Just sweet and simple.  Oh, and a quick heart-felt prayer before you read these words…..

Father, I pray that you touch the reader of these words with life, hope, and a deep assurance of You and Your presence.  May we remember that not a man (nor woman) nor a mouse will escape Your love and Your watchful eye.  Amen.

Friends, read and re-read these amazing Words of Life with me.

Psalm 36:5-6The Message (MSG)

God’s love is meteoric,
    his loyalty astronomic,
His purpose titanic,
    his verdicts oceanic.
Yet in his largeness
    nothing gets lost;
Not a man, not a mouse,
    slips through the cracks.
