A few months ago, my husband and I traveled to beautiful, Washington. Words cannont express the breath-taking scenery, nor can mere photos. Looking back over some of my amateur pictures, I felt this same feeling of being unable to capture the area’s true beauty. As I looked at the pictures this morning, Words of Life began to fill in the empty places, making these few photos come alive in my heart and mind, God’s Word colliding with His creation. May you soak up some beauty today and bask in God’s Word. They are the Words of Life……
Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.
(Psalm 36:5, New Living Translation)
In the multitude of my anxious thoughts within me, Your comforts cheer and delight my soul!
(Psalm 94:19, Amplified)
If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you?
(Matthew 6:30, The Message)
“I don’t think the way you think. The way you work isn’t the way I work.” ’s Decree. “For as the sky soars high above earth, so the way I work surpasses the way you work, and the way I think is beyond the way you think. Just as rain and snow descend from the skies and don’t go back until they’ve watered the earth, Doing their work of making things grow and blossom, producing seed for farmers and food for the hungry, So will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do, they’ll complete the assignment I gave them.
(Isaiah 55:9-11, The Message)
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul.
(Psalm 23:1-3a, New International Version)
Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
(Revelation 19:6, New International Version)
By your words I can see where I’m going;
they throw a beam of light on my dark path.
(Psalm 119:105, MSG)
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
(Psalm 91:1-2, New International Version)
